
Jennifer has always dreamed of becoming an all-purpose celebrity. In her youth Jennifer was fond of a variety of genres of music, mainly Afro-Caribbean songs like salsa, merengue and bachata. Additionally, she loved mainstream music, like hip-hop as well as R&B. The music she loved was also fascinated by motion picture industry. West Side Story, a musical composed by Rita Moreno (1961), was her most significant source of inspiration. At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. Apart from becoming a skilled entertainment artist, Jennifer became a Catholic schoolgirlwho attended eight years at a Catholic elementary school , named Holy Family situated within The Bronx, before graduating from an all girls prep school, Preston High School after four years of attendance. In school, Jennifer was an amazing athlete who played in tennis and track. Then, in Castle Hill, she spent the majority of her time in a two story house. At 18, Jennifer moved out of her parents' home. Lopez worked as a lawyer during this period, while taking lessons at night.
