Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954, in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox was accepted into the Royal Academy of Music in London in the 70s, where she learned the flute piano as well as the harpsichord for three consecutive years. Lennox was able to live by surviving on a student stipend, as she worked part-time. While in the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied by her performance compared to her student classmates and was contemplating a different path she might follow. Lennox played the flute in the band Dragons Playground. But she quit before the band was invited to compete on I.T.V.'s talent show New Faces. Between 1977 and the year 1980 she was the vocalist in The Tourists. A British pop group. As part of this group, she was first introduced to Dave Stewart. Together they would form The Eurythmics Pop duo. Lennox started work with Diva in 1992. This was her debut album as a solo artist. The album was a massive hit with regard to the sales as well as critical acclaim. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth album by herself came out in the month of October, 2014. The C.D. Lennox compiled her top soul jazz blues tracks from the time of her childhood. Lepidoptera is a collection of four improvised tracks for piano, which Lennox made available in May 2019. The E.P. The first single from her debut album, Now I Letting You Go... was released as the perfect accompaniment to her work of art in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. Annie Lennox is a Scottish musician and singer who was born on December 25, 1954. Following a modest recognition as part of the group known as The Tourists in the late 1970s she and fellow musician Dave Stewart went on to gain international recognition as the duo known as Eurythmics during the 80s.
